Midway Airport (MDW)
Several low-cost carriers fly into Midway, such as:
Southwest Airlines,
Air Tran,

each carriers website to check fares. Convenient train service, the “EL,” runs from Midway to Chicago downtown
(about 25 minutes) and the suburbs for $2. Midway is closer to downtown
and less likely to have airport delays.
OHare Airport (ORD)
The big airport in Chicago serves every major airline. For more information about OHare,
click here. Convenient train service, the “EL,” runs from O’Hare to Chicago downtown (about 45 minutes) and suburbs for $2.
Generally it is faster to take the EL train downtown rather than a taxi ($50), due to traffic delays.
