(Yoga for Prosperity, p. 76)
Posture: Sit in easy pose or in a chair with your spine straight. Apply Root Lock. Lift the chest high, chin in (i.e., Neck Lock).
Focus: The eyes are focused at the third eye point (looking gently upwards, between the eyebrows).
Breath: Take a few deep breaths to center yourself.
Mantra: Aad Such, Jugaad Such, Haibhee Such, Nanaka Hosee Bhee Such.
Meaning of Mantra: True in the beginning; true through the ages; true even now; Nanak says that Truth shall forever be.”
Mudra: Spread the fingers of the left hand as wide as possible and place the hand on the heart center with the thumb pointing up. Make a fist of the right hand with the Jupiter finger (index finger) extended and pointing up. Place the right arm by the side with the tip of the index finger at eye level and the palm facing forward.
Chant the mantra pulling the navel powerfully on each “Sach” so that the navel connects with the spine.
Time: Time is open. Yogi Bhajan stated that different people might need different durations. Eleven minutes works well in most situations. Begin with 11 minutes and slowly work up to 31 minutes.
End: Inhale, suspend the breath and relax.
Comments: This is a meditation for the Radiant Body. The practice of this meditation empowers us to be healthy, happy, creative and prosperous. If the fingers of the left hand are spread as wide as possible and the navel is pulled powerfully, it also enhances intuition. When Yogi Bhajan taught this meditation he told a story of a man who came to him in a state of physical collapse. The doctors gave the man 3 months to live. Yogi Bhajan had the man practice this mediation for 40 days and the man also made some changes in his diet. At the end of that time the man was in excellent health. He has not had a relapse.
The mantra used is the second half of the Mul Mantra. It is a mantra of truth, used to raise the Kundalini.
