For Automatic Endurance in the Body

(Owner’s Manual for the Human Body, p. 7.)

Meditation. Conscious breath for total purification. Sit in any easy meditative posture. Inhale through the nose for 20 seconds, hold the breath for 20 seconds and exhale for 20 seconds. Start with 3 minutes and build this cycle up to 31 minutes a day. (Note from Shakta: Beginners may start with inhaling for 5 seconds, holding the breath for 5 seconds, and exhaling for 5 seconds. Gradually increase your time as you become comfortable.)

Yoga. Lie on your left side. Raise the right leg all the way up. Inhale in eight strokes and exhale in eight strokes. 3 minutes.

This exercise gives absolute tolerance and gives grit. This affects the liver which has a powerful purification function.
